This award is open to any private company operating in Scotland that can demonstrate best practice and innovation in the fields of waste, recycling and resource management.

Best Local Authority Initiative - sponsored by

This award is open to any Scottish Local Authorities that can demonstrate best practice and innovation in the fields of waste, recycling and resource management.

Best Community Sector Initiative - sponsored by

This award is open to any community based, not for profit organisation operating in Scotland that can demonstrate best practice and innovation in the fields of waste, recycling and resource management.

Best Partnership Initiative - sponsored by

This award is open to organisations that can demonstrate best practice partnership working in the fields of waste, recycling and resource management.

Best Non-Waste Management Sector Initiative - sponsored by

This award will be presented to an organisation that is not directly involved in the waste, recycling and resource management industry that has shown a clear commitment to best practice and innovation in dealing with their waste. The shortlist will be drawn up from organisations nominated by the SWR Steering Group.
