The purpose of the Scottish Waste and Resources Awards is to acknowledge, reward and celebrate those organisations that have shown an outstanding contribution, through best practice and innovation, to the Scottish waste, recycling and resource management sectors. Activities that are eligible should be based around the waste hierarchy and could cover best practice and innovation in any of the following areas:
Entries should consist of a summary of no more than 1000 words detailing why your organisation should win the relevant Award. Entries should relate to initiatives that have taken place since April 2009 and not before. Entries should be about innovation and good practice and not just meeting standards that either would be expected by the customer or that are legally required. Please note that no supporting documentation will be considered. We may contact you for further information or clarification about your entry.
Please note that organisations can only submit one entry per category but are eligible to submit entries in more than one category. Please complete a separate entry form for each entry.
