This prestigious industry dinner and awards ceremony, recognising outstanding achievements in the waste sector in Scotland, will take place on the evening of Wednesday 7 October 2009 at the Hilton Hotel,Glasgow. Over 400 leading figures from local authorities, private sectors, professional bodies and regulators from across the UK attended this prestigious awards dinner in 2008, don't miss out on the opportunity this year. 

This years awards will be hosted by Kaye Adams. Journalist and regular guest presenter on The Wright Stuff, Kaye was also, for several years, the anchor of ITV1's Loose Women. Kaye has also appeared on BBC 1's flagship political debate show Question Time and guested on Have I Got News For You.  Kaye has received awards for Regional Presenter of the Year (1997) from The Royal Television Society and, also won a Scottish BAFTA award for Best Entertainment Programme in 1997 for 'Scottish Men' which Kaye devised, produced and presented - this innovative and entertaining presenter led documentary style programme looked at the attitudes and behaviour of a variety of men in Scotland!
